AAL - Ambient Assisted Living - Preparation of an Art. 169-initiative
Ambient Assisted Living as a concept aims at prolongating the time, people can live in a decent way in their own flat by increasing their autonomy and self-confidence, the discharge of monotonously everyday activities, to monitor and care for the elderly or ill person, to enhance the security and to save resources. involvement of the national level as well.
 

INHOME - An intelligent interactive services environment for assisted living at home

The goal of the INHOME project is to provide the means for improving the quality of life of elderly people at home, by developing generic technologies for managing their domestic ambient environment, comprised of white goods, entertainment equipment and home automation systems with the aim to increase their autonomy and safety.
 

CAALYX - Complete Ambient Assisted Living Experiment

The main objective is to develop, and test through real user participation, a wearable light device able to measure specific vital signs of the elder or ill person, to detect falls and to communicate autonomously in real time with his/her caregiver in case of an emergency, wherever they are.
 

OLDES - Old people's e-services at home

The OLDES project will offer new technological solutions to improve the quality of life of older people. OLDES aims at developing a very low cost and easy to use entertainment and health care platform designed to ease the life of older people in their homes. In order to achieve this, new concepts developed in Information Technologies will be integrated and adapted.
 

TAS3 - Trusted Architecture for Securely Shared Services

The overall S&T objective of TAS3 is to research and develop a generic open and fully published trusted architecture for securely shared personal data services and a full implementation thereof. Its usage will be illustrated also in the healthcare sector.
 

CONFIDENCE - Ubiquitous Care System to Support Independet Living

The main objective of CONFIDENCE project is the development and integration of innovative technologies to build a care system for the detection of abnormal events (such as falls) or unexpected behaviours that may be related to a health problem in elderly people.
