Hydra in high-performing role at the ICT 2008 event
News

ICT 2008 is Europe's biggest research event for information and communication technologies. More than 4,500 researchers, industry representatives and policy makers participated in this 3-day event 25-27 November 2008 in Lyon.

The Hydra project participated with an exhibition demonstrating the use of the Hydra SDK for development of applications for the Internet of Things and Services. The demonstration also featured the award-winning Hydra demonstration of a Building Automation scenario. Our exhibition was very crowded most of the time and the Hydra demo was voted as one of the top 10 exhibits.

The Hydra project also organised a succesful Networking Session on Internet of Things. The program featured presentations of context awareness and Hydra architecture as well as eHealth applications for the Internet of Things. The presentations caused many questions and the room was filled to the last seat with some participants having to sit on the floor.
