The Hydra project is co-funded by the 
Hydra demonstation at CeBIT 2008
For the CeBIT 2008 (April) in Hannover, Germany a building automation prototype was constructed in order to show the intention and global vision of the HYDRA middleware and presented at the FIT exhibiton stand.
Since it is quite difficult to directly present the use for a middleware, it was decided to implement two building automation scenarios that were demonstrated to the audience. After the demonstration of the two scenarios the general meaning of the project became clear, more interested visitors found also initiated discussions about future scenarios or about the internal relationships.
The video shows the home automation scenario implemented with an "intelligent" Lego(c) building. The explanations are synchronized in English.
We hope this serves as a inspiration, together with our Building Automation Scenarios, of the Hydra middleware capabilities. Please provide feedback, if you have any comments.
